Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) organized a Flag Day celebration at its headquarters for its staff and senior management. The celebration was organized in recognition of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai’s call to raise the nation’s flag over federal and local government entities.

H.E. Dr. Ali bin Tamim, General Manager of ADM, introduced a series of special activities organized by the company with the support of Abu Dhabi Police. The series began at Aletihad Newspaper and continued to the flagpole of the TV and Radio Broadcast building. 

This was followed by the flag raising ceremony, performed by the Abu Dhabi Police Music Band, while staff members performed the ceremonial oath of allegiance. Beside the flag pole a large screen displayed historical scenes of the late Sheikh Zayed, accompanied by fellow Emirati leaders, raising the flag.

In addition, the national anthem was broadcasted throughout ADM’s premises, flags were distributed to employees, an internal e-competition was launched, and awards were distributed to prize winners.

ADM’s various media channels celebrated the special occasion with comprehensive coverage of the UAE’s achievements and highlights of the vision and wisdom of the nation’s leadership, in line with the company’s role in supporting the aspirations of the UAE, its people and its values.
