Next Tuesday’s episode of the documentary show “Emaratya B’Imtiyaz” (Arabic for “An Emirati Woman with Distinction”) will host Dr. Jamila Al Suwaidi on Abu Dhabi TV on Tuesday 7:30 pm UAE time (6:30 p.m. KSA).

Al Suwaidi is a national scientific icon. She is a doctor who loves her job and medical work. She is the first woman to have a postgraduate degree in medical physics, majoring in atomic nuclear energy. She represents the UAE before International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in scientific projects related to radiation protection and medical radiography. Dr. Jamila Al-Suwaidi is a Consultant in “Radiation in Medicine Developments” at the Department of Medical Education in Dubai Health Authority, and will be the guest of special episode of “Emaratiya B’Imtiyaz”.

“Emaratiya B’Imtiyaz” has presented various models of Emirati women who have worked in exceptional careers and appeared on television for the first time to share details of their success stories. Among these women was Dr. Hessa Abdullah Ahmed Al Otaiba, Aisha Al Hameli, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the International Civil Aviation Organization, Aisha Al Ma'amari, First Emergency Medical Specialist, Afraa Al Basti, Member of the Federal National Council, Fatima Al Kharousi, the first UAE national Director of Airport Operations in Japan, the UAE writer Al Hanoof Mohammed, among many others.
