Abu Dhabi TV broadcasts its weekly show "Alwani" (Arabic for “My Colors”) hosted by Dr. Mamoun Alwani, which aims to educate the viewers on the various international art schools, plastic art paintings and different painting techniques adopted throughout history. The show airs every Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. UAE time (8:30 p.m. KSA).

The next episode of the show, which will be broadcasted Tuesday, focuses on Raffaello Sanzio, where viewers will get to learn about his characteristics and some aspects of his personal life, his origins and the stages of his artistic maturity.

The episode will also feature a 3D presentation of Raffaello's most celebrated masterpiece, the School of Athens, currently kept at the Vatican, which portrays a group of the greatest philosophers, scientists and thinkers throughout history. The show will educate the viewers about the characters in the painting along with analysis and explanations, the technology used to paint it, along with a report including the opinions of specialized Italian critics and researchers.

At the end, the show will present a report on the artist Safwan Dahoulin a five and a half minute segment.

Each episode of the “Alwani” show includes a report on a contemporary Arab artist along with reports on art schools. The show hosts an eliteselection of leading artists and experts in art and culture in the region. The show also sheds light on the international arts and paintings displayed in Arab museums in general, and those of the UAE in particular, such as the Louvre museum in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which will promote artistic and cultural tourism in the region, and convey a bright image of the Arab region, which has a great wealth of culture and arts.

The launch of the show comes as part of Abu Dhabi Channels' mission to produce a diverse and purposeful local media content, which plays a vital role in strengthening the UAE and the capital as a leading economic and tourism hub in the region and as a leader in providing world level media production.
