With the kick off of the football season, Aletihad newspaper introduces a new addition to the local and Arab sports library by publishing the fourth edition of "The Champions", the first and largest annual football encyclopedia in the UAE giving football fans free entry passes to watch all the season’s championships in 328 pages, distributed free of charge with the Thursday issue of the newspaper on the occasion of the kick off of the 44th edition of the GCC Champions League tomorrow.

The fourth edition of “The Champions” book comes in a more attractive packing and content to build on its success over the past three seasons. It includes full documentation of all events and football championships with figures, information and statistics, and the new season's agenda locally, the GCC region and worldwide, as well as the schedules of matches on interest for the reader including The GCC Champions League, the UAE President's Cup, the Gulf Cup of Nations, the AFC Champions League, the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and the world's major leagues such as the Spanish La Liga, the UK Premiere League, the Italian Serie A and the German Bundesliga as well as the largest Arab leagues.

In its fourth edition, the book features the history of the GCC Champions League since its inception in 1973 until today with rare photos and stories, as well as a special record of all the international matches of our national team. The book also highlights the FIFA Club World Cup (FCWC) hosted by Abu Dhabi between 6 and 16 December 2017 with the participation of Real Madrid, the European champion, Al-Jazira Club the third “ambassador» of the UAE to the FCWC along with Al Wahda and Al Ahli clubs. The book also features a map of the Russia Football World Cup qualifiers for all continents, along with the stadiums, the dates and the draw of the finals, and a report on the Saudi squad’s journey, the first Arab representative in the 2018 World Cup.
