Abu Dhabi Media and the community initiative, Sandooq Al Watan announced the signing of a joint collaboration agreement in response to the "Year of Giving" initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the UAE.

H.E. Dr. Ali Bin Tamim, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Media and H.E. Mohamed Al Qadhi, General Manager of Al Watan Fund, signed the agreement at Abu Dhabi Media headquarters in the presence of H.E. Noura Al Kaabi, Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi Media.

Within its support of Al Watan Fund, Abu Dhabi Media provides media services and special coverage of its events, activities and trademark throughout its media platforms: whether video, audio, printed or digital. Abu Dhabi Media will also shed light on the Fund’s initiatives along with digital media support by providing its services, advice and interaction with social media influencers.

The agreement includes expanding the prospects of cooperation between Abu Dhabi Media and Al Watan Fund through projects to be selected and implemented according to specific schedules.

Abu Dhabi Media’s announcement of its support to Al Watan Fund came at a time when it was seeking to harness all its capabilities to provide extensive coverage of the ‘Year of Giving’ initiatives, through various shows, events, coverages and initiatives that support all aspects of this nation-wide initiative and its significance at various levels. Through its content, Abu Dhabi Media reflects the concern if its various platforms to provide diverse, innovative and meaningful content that highlights the vision of UAE’s leadership, its achievements, and the aspirations and values of the Emirati society.

The agreement focuses on the positive roles played by both sides in sponsoring the development projects and plans for the advancement of the UAE, whereby they provide the needed assistance and care and bring to light the innovative ideas and projects, which may be instrumental to achieve sustainable development in the UAE.

Al Watan Fund works through innovative projects and initiatives to create the proper environment that encourages national talents to be innovative in various economic and social fields and contribute to building a knowledge-, research- and development-based economy by providing all kinds of support to innovators to help them realize their ambitions and transform their innovations into projects that benefit the UAE community and contribute to the efforts of advancing the development process and creating a better future for our present and future generations.
