Abu Dhabi Media participates in the National Volunteering Platform and urges its employees to register
5 June 2017Abu Dhabi Media announced its participation in the National Volunteering Platform, launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, , Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as one of the most important initiatives of the ‘Year of Giving’ 2017, which aims to strengthen the culture of volunteering and the concept of social responsibility in the UAE.
Abu Dhabi Media intends to urge all its employees to participate in the “UAE Volunteers” platform and register in one of 14 different categories, from which volunteers can choose the category of interest, and provide community services that enhance volunteerism and benefit the UAE.
"Joining the National Volunteer Platform is a duty and honor," said H.E. Noura Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Media, in a tweet on her official Twitter account.
“Our Wise leadership is never tired of working to serve our community and encourages all its segments to collaborate and stand together showing what it is really made of. This constructive voluntary initiative is one of the most important fruits of the ‘Year of Giving’ for the UAE society, and we are honored to participate in it as part of our endeavor to serve our beloved country.” She added.
